A new feature was integrated in the Explorer framework. This feature permits us to define menu elements at the root level of the explorer configuration file. These menus are interpreted and integrated in a menu bar and a tool bar if these widgets are present in the GUI built on top of the framework. explorerConfig.dtd : - Added a Separator element in order to integrate a separator in a list of items. - Changed the explorer element definition in order to allow one to define menus which are integrated in a tool bar. - Added a label attribute and the mnemonic element to the menu element.
Importing the new version of the Browser Framework (now called Explorer). It has been totally redesigned using a component-based approach. The Component Model used to implement this new version of the explorer framework is the Fractal Component Model. This framework includes all the features contained in the previous version. Moreover, the 'generic' aspect has been enhanced in order to support more than one Graphical Framework. Thus, we can imagine to develop a plug-in for a set of resources and explore it by using either the Java/SWT technology or the Java/Swing technology. For the moment, only the Java/Swing support is totally implemented. The Java/SWT support is forecasted but not yet fully implemented.
